I’m a mum to 3 gorgeous girls and find that running is a great way to improve both my physical and mental wellness. I used to run a lot when I was younger but, due to recurring injuries, I stopped when I was 18.
I started running again in 2008, joined Carlisle Tri Club in 2011, and have never looked back. It can be difficult fitting everything into my hectic life but, between looking after my girls and work, I always fit in time for running and exercise. I know then that I can cope with anything and it really helps to de-stress after a difficult day.
